How hard are Hodgedon Primers

Can anybody advise how hard Hodgedon primers are. I've got a some Hodgedon large rifle primers and am wondering if they are soft enough for my Remington 7400

  I was unaware that Hodgedon made primers...are they new on the market?

  Load a few up and test them. Primed cases would be an ok first test, then real loads. For the primed case just look at the dent in the primer, often they will back out of the case without the pressure of a load to push the case back to the bolt face.
