Glock 26 Gen4 guide rod disassembly?

    I don't know the answer to your question directly, but I know Wolff Springs has this note with their Glock 26/27 (and other compact Glock model) replacement springs:
    Extra power spring sets help improve recoil function in these pistols. Springs are for use with Wolff Guide Rod Components. Springs are non-captive for easy changes on Wolff guide rods listed below.

    They don't sell any replacement springs listed to replace the captive ones; I'm not aware of anyone else who does, so I'm thinking that spring assembly isn't designed to be a "serviceable" unit.

    Go to glockstore.com and watch their videos. They have tons of videos on full disassembly. The Gen 4's use a captured spring. Really no need to fully disassemble it unless you really have to. If you need a heavier spring they sell them already assembled with plastic, steel or tungsten rods.
