    Thanks for the reply. Have tried in the past using the required photo bucket. May just be a defective brain, but thanks anyway. I may have some time tomorrow and will try again.

    Here's a drawing from Philip Sharpe's book The Rifle In America editions 1938,'47,'53,'58. Not sure what year the diagram was drawn, but it's prior to the Inner-Belted design which has been in place for over fifty years. Any of these resemble your bullets?

    Similar to "C" in the drawings?? Sounds like the High Speed Mushroom bullet. A very popular bullet for the 257 Roberts. 1935 to 1940??
