Redfield Ring Screws

Hello All,

I've got an older set of Redfield, four screw cap, rings waiting to be used but the screws are missing. Having tried Redfield Mounts, EGW, Weigland, Brownells and Midway, nobody(including me) seems to have a clue as to where they're available. Obviously this isn't HomeDepot or general hardware. Any of you experts know of a source? The vintage stuff is nice and these rings still have a nice blue finish. Thank you for your time.

  They look like #6"s, but I'm not sure if they're 40's or 48's. The counter-bore is only about 5/32 so the heads, I believe, are smaller than regular Fillister(?) heads.

  They are #5, either 40 TPI or 44 TPI (what pass for references conflict).
  
  B-Square used to offer screws for these rings, I think.

  Sir: You may have tried this but, all gun shops that mount scope and rings will have a box/bag of old and unused screws and old replaced rings. Take your rings to a shop or two in your town and ask if they will look. Offer them some cash, they may just say there on the house. The one gun shop I go to all the time has help me out a lot, with what you are trying to find.

  B-square used to offer an S-1000 kit that is no longer available. I'll try local Smitty's but trying to find eight the same size and un-buggered is gonna be a challenge but a lead none the less. Thanks again.

  Brownells used to have hex head replacements.

  Checked my screws for anyone else looking for some.. The threads are 5x44. The stock code number was 122-500-100 for the socket head screws, but it does not come up on Brownells web sight. They still list 5x44x1" in the fillister head refill paks of 12. #080-050-544AK. Hope this info is of some help.
