3 shell limit
Watching goose hunting show on TV and noticed most of the semi auto shotguns had tube extenders for extra shell. I do not know if they loaded more than 3 shells. I thought the 3 shell limit applied to all migratory flyways or does it not apply to private lands or preserves?

Migratory Water Fowl hunting generally only allows a three (3) shell capacity. My state does have a Special Snow Goose season & there are no magazine capacity limits. They even allow electronic calls.
The only exception to the three (3) shell limit I can think of are a foreign country.0 -
Most likely the magazine has a internal plug, to reduce it to legal capacity. I don't see anybody being that dumb, to be shooting with a illegal gun on TV. 0 -
I believe all guns are furnished with plugs but these guys were not trick shooters so why the extension as I doubt they were defense weapons? 0 -

Could have been guns supplied by the guide service. Guns wold be used for all waterfowl seasons that they guide for.
Makes sense they would have them plugged for any season other than snow's.0 -
There are some recoil reducers that replace the magazine tube cap and look like a tube extension. 0 -

One must remember, that not all Goose seasons are just in the good old USA. I am sure there are other countries that have broader regulations, concerning migratory fowl...including the use of lead shot.
