when melting peweter do you flux like ww lead want to add to ww lead to cast bullets will 1 lb and 9 lb off ww lead be about right or more or less say 1/2 lb to 9 1/2 lb

  Never heard about anybody alloying lead with Pewter, for bullet casting? Tin and Antimony is what I'm familiar with.

  Pewter is almost entirely "tin". (more so than 50/50 solder) For bullets, a little would go a long way.

  Try 1/4 pound pewter to 8 pounds ww lead. You can work your way up from there.

  Peweter is an alloy of copper and tin, mostly tin. Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, mostly copper. In the good old days peweter did contain lead but in recent times the lead has been removed. rufsnow is right it can contain other things also.
