WCF 22 ammo

I was talking to a local gun shop and he tells me Winchester every so often makes WCF ammo. Anybody know about this? I could purchase a 1885 WCF at a fair price but do not know if I could find ammo.

  no they don't .22wcf is very similar to .22 hornet but NOT interchangable. you could have the rifle rechambered to .22 hornet AND have the firing pin 'bushed' but I don't recommend this (altering a fine collectable rifle).

  Twenty years ago, Winchester produced .22 Winchester Rim Fire in small and infrequent batches. Today, both CCI and Winchester make it regularly. My company sells it, but we're out of stock at the moment. You can normally find it here:
