Is this fixed sight Ruger Security Six unusual?

I recently bought this revolver and thought the sellers description was wrong.

It's a 2-3/4" blue 357 with "RUGER SECURITY SIX" on the frame.

The serial number is 150-78xxx that the website says is 1974 or later.

All my other Security Six revolvers have adjustable sights. Not this one.

  They were very early ones, the first three years production. Found this on ruger forum,

  Introduced in 1972, the Security Six was the original model of the new series.[4] The majority of these guns were manufactured with adjustable open iron sights but a few were sold with fixed sights. Security Sixes could be ordered with either service or target shooting style square butt grips, and most were chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge which allowed for firing the shorter .38 Special. A number of dedicated .38 Special models were also built. Barrel lengths available on the Security Six included 2.75, 4, and 6 inches.[1][3]

  There is a fella that goes on here, and the auction side, by "golferboy426". He in the past has had a slew of special run, old Ruger's. You might float him an e-mail, as he might be able to give you some history on that. His late father, as I understand it, was into collecting that kind of stuff.

  Back in the mid-70's I had a fixed sight model, but it was labelled "Police Service Six". It seemed to be identical to the Security Six except for the fixed sights. It was a good revolver, but I eventually traded it away for something else. [:)]
