The last Win bulk 55's FMJ I bought were crappy and only good for trigger time. I'd spend the time and money looking for good bullets. One of the local gunshops ad's say they have primer, powder and bullets back in stock at reduced prices what ever that means.

Midway and/or Midsouth. Click on the "notify me", etc button and hope for an email soon. I skip the pricey ones.

Is anyone else having it impossible to find 55gr bulk lots of 223 bullets for loading?

No- Hit the auction side. If you scan it enough you can still find stuff at a reasonable price given the current situation.

Not a major problem, price is still a little high, but bullets are available. EvergladesAmmo has ads on GB most of the time and last I checked they have bullets for .223.

Many others have them, just won't name them since they are not on GB. You need to look at places that handle reloading supplies only instead of Gander Mtn., or Cabela's.

The web is your friend. Good luck.

Probably too much to expect to find Hornady 55 grain SP for $425 per case(that's 6000)?

Iv been happy with Dog Town and Nosler Varmigedon. I'm almost certain that the Dog Town is the same as the Nos Varm FBHP. 65 bucks for 500 don't seem to bad to me.

Thanks guys for the info. I usually buy them in a box of 1,000 and that keeps me shooting for a while. I did splurge and buy some 50gr varmint bullets before they went nuts on them so just looking for target bullets. Thanks again.

I've had good luck at MidSouth, there brand. I believe that they are made by Hornady or Nosler depending on bullet. Midwayusa has come through as well.

Troll the action side as too, just be smart. Usually some well priced stuff. Almost always some overpriced too.

I just bought 500 each, 150gr fmj .30 M2 and 63gr .224 M855 from River Valley Ordnance today. I got a "break" so wont give price but they're reasonable at 3x the price of 2 yrs ago. And available.

I just returned the 224's for bad pulling marks and out of roundness from pulling tool. Their 308-150-M2 ball was good though.

If they are the company in Saint Charles, MO the have an (F) BBB rating.
Please let us know how it pans out.

Got em today. USPS smashed the boxes. Nothing lost even though double boxed flat rate boxes were destroyed & zip lock bags were exposed.
150-M2 30 cal bullets ok. 223-63 gr will go back. Pull marks deformed bullets too much.

I seen new and pulled listed on the web page. You got your order pretty quick. I might try them if they have some new SS109 left.
