I don't know the twist, but do know they are very accurate with the T/C design Maxi Ball. I also know that a #2 alloy Maxi will penetrate over 14" of red oak with 120gr. of FFg.

The twist rate in both the Hawkin and Renagade is the same...1 in 48. It is not slow enough for round ball, or fast enough for a serious conical. However, the Maxi-Ball, and Maxi-Hunter are designed for it, and do well with it.

You can make a round ball shoot in a fast twist by slugging the bore, and using a patch/ball combination of where the patch is thinner, and just acts like a seal, while the ball is actually engraved into the rifling.

I seem to be able to shoot a patched ball a little better with my Renegade than i can a Maxi Ball.
