What hand gun
I have been very successful selling AR 15 rifles and parts. So far that has been the only weapon we have carried. We want to start carrying pistols like 1911, Glocks, Rugers etc. I have not followed the hand gun business very closely even though I own an old Walther from WWII. What are the 3 or 4 top hand guns that seem to be hot sellers? This might not be the right forum to ask but really I didnt know which one to post in. I advertise on GunBroker.com since that is where we get 90% of our sales.
Thanks in advance

I would add a small compact 380 to my lineup, women can drop one in their purse and men can tuck one in a concealed carry holster. Rugers seem to be most popular in my area. 0 -
The S&W M&P line, Glocks, Ruger, Kimber, Colt [;)] 0 -

Seems like the concealable ones are hot here in western WI. 0 -
I noticed there is a dozen Glock models. Which one is the most popular. Also do people prefer 9 mm over a 45 ca.? 0 -

There are a number of discount dealers, who sell almost exclusively over the net. If you have a conventional brick and mortar store. It's very difficult to compete with them. To make a long story short. Don't be investing big bucks into a large handgun inventory. Until you can see how competitive you can be with them, price wise. My 2 cents.0 -

I'd go with 19's and 23's to start. The 19 is a 9, the 23 is a similarly sized 40.0 -
In my wanderings I see a lot of customers looking at 40 S&Ws such as the Springfield XDs- I suspect 380s and 40s probably get the largest portion of sales. 0 -
You should ask your customers,
What type handguns they'd like to see on the shelves.0 -
