Picture asks it all here; did any Inland stocks get stamped by European armorers?

Did Inland make Walnut potbellies?

  The Italian FAT marking means that the stock once held a Carbine that was one of the many thousands brought in from Italy by the CMP several years ago.

  Stands for "Fabbrica d'Armi a Terni".
  
  Some Italian lend lease M1 carbine stocks marked FAT are European birch or beech replacement stocks.
  
  Inland contracted for their walnut stocks, including potbelly M2 stocks, from SE Overton, Richardson Bros., & Hillerich & Bradsby.
