I had one of the Keltec's, when they first hit the market. Had to do what is known as "Fluffing & Buffing". Before it was reliable to my satisfaction.
Never owned the Beretta 32. I've heard that the frames had durability problems. Never actually had any hands on experience, to verify this.
Personally I would consider the Keltec in .380, before springing for the one in .32. Virtually the same size, .380 would be much more effective for personal protection. Being it's a rimless cartridge, less potential feeding problem(s), then the semi-rimed .32.0 -
I've had both. After doing a feed ramp polish the Kel-Tec ran good, and never had a feed problem with the tom cat [^]
When the p-380 came out, I traded the 32 for one for more power [;)]0 -
Have two Kel-Tecs, P32's, never had an issue with either one (ones a first Generation, other is a second). Brother had a TomCat, called it his Jam o Cat. He didn't have it for long.

Have no experience with the Beretta, but both of the Kel-Tec .32s I've seen would jam frequently, one of them seemingly after every single shot.
These guns "may" have run better after being shot in with several hundred rounds or a "fluff and buff" which is basically a polish of wear points that accomplishes the same thing. Don't know.
IMO in today's ammo climate, it doesn't make sense to spend $200 on ammo to break in a $250 gun.
Also, in my opinion, given just how tiny and lightweight the current crop of polymer .380s are nowadays, .32 pocket pistols are effectively obsolete anyway. If you've already got one, so be it, but personally, I'd never buy a new one.0 -
If you can hit with the kel tec it has more power. But the trigger on the Beretta can be slicked up, increasing the chance you will hit with it.
Better one hit with a .32 than none with a .380!0
