Remington rolling block

I have acquired an Old Remington Rolling block action from an estate sale. I have two questions: what is something like this worth ( not that great of condition, but can be worked on by a gunsmith ), and since it has a serial# am I able to ship to someones home address or does it need to be shipped to a FFL dealer?

  Hello again folks.Can anyone help me out on a Remington Rolling Block rifle value. I saw one for sale in very nice shape but just dont know what to pay.Any ballpark figures would help. All I know is it has the saddle ring if that means anything. Appreciate any help. Richee

  There was a 12.11x44R Remington M67 (Norway & Sweden).

  According to "Cartridges of the World". The 12 X 42R mm. Is a centerfire hunting cartridge, used in Rolling Blocks. Dates to the 1860's, and was used in both Sweden and Norway.
  
  Your question is quite confusing? During that time frame, all the large Black Powder cartridges had a rim.
  
  The hammer on your rifle might have been replaced? As there were both rimfire and centerfire versions of this cartridge. If your hammer is for the rimfire military cartridge? You will have to rework it, or obtain a centerfire hammer.

  The Swedish version should have a EG or FG and a crown on the receiver. There is no markings on the tang. These were made under license from Remington. Danish models often had cut out in the stock for a regimental dish.
  Having said all that, there were so many variations, contracts, and different rounds these rifles were chambered for.
  Yes the cartridge for your rifle is rimmed.
  The best way to find out more about your rolling block is to remove the forestock and examine the stampings under the barrel hidden from view.

  you change the breech block not the hammer when going from rimfire to centerfire
