Just picked up a Colt Cobra 38spc 1st issue.
Would someone please give the DOM?

  hello, was wondering if someone could tell me the DOM for a colt cobra 38 revolver serial # 240720 underneath is was looks to be a offsetting I then LW. thanks for any help.

  Looks like 1967.

  1967 is what my book says. LW (Lightweight) is usually considered as part of the serial number. This Cobra has an aluminum frame, steel barrel and cylinder.

  Colt site shows 1967.
