I am wondering what my 1975 1022 with walnut stock, metal butt plate, in 95% condition is worth [?] It has a 1.5X5 whitetail scope on it.

  Unless it's some kind of low production, rare variation? Don't see it having alot of value. Ruger started making them in the early 60's. Probably knocked out a couple million, by now?

  Paid 125 for one built in 2006 with a ss receiver and rosewood stock. I see them at gun shows for under 175 all the time.Oakie

  The old 10/22's with the metal trigger guard and walnut stock can command a few dollars more to buyers looking for better quality.
  
  Some buyers do not like the plastic trigger and trigger guards. I prefer the metal ones myself.
  
  The walnut stocks are much nicer than the birch in my opinion.
  
  A little work and they are Worls Class Match tolarinces supar akurate![:D]

  M1A762 answered the question the poster wanted to know if the older 10/22s should go for a little bit more money (they should) because of the walnut stock, metal butt plate and other metal parts that later 10/22s don't have. Once in a while you see one of the walnut stocks on auction sites for sale.
