A 00 is .33 in diameter and there are approx 130 to a pound. Here is your chance to use your high school math.

1.145 ounces, I reload shotshells, looks like you would throw 1 1/8th ounce of lead, but not 1 1/4 oz. somewhere in between. but my pellets were made in the 30's. hope that helps[:)]

I load 12 cast ones as 1.25 ounces. Red AA wad on top of Unique in the old AA hulls. Black sharpie "OO" on base and two sides.

Nominally, each 00 buckshot pellet weighs 53.8 grains, or 3.49 grams.

9 of them weigh 484.2 grains, or 31.41 grams, or 1.12 ounces.

Obviously, there is going to be some minor variation in per-pellet weight, but for practical loading or other purposes, if you want to call it 1-1/8 ounces, you're close enough.
