Browning Auto 5 swap out question UP DATE

I don't know when Browning changed the placement of the safety from in front of the trigger, to the crossbolt safety. my question is
Will the crossbolt safty trigger assy, work and fit receiver on the old type assy with the safety in front of the trigger?

  this happened after ww2, I don't think the trigger parts will interchange with out a LOT of fitting.

  1951 was the year Browning got away from the suicide safety.
  The cross bolt requires gunsmith installation, I've had 3 A5s changed to cross bolt safety's.

  Having a proper blue match won't likely happen, but wouldn't the trigger plate and corresponding safety, safety sear and trigger parts be an almost drop in?
  
  I don't know if the A5 has the tang length/butt stock complications of the Remington Model 11, but the replacement trigger plate assembly itself dropped right into my beater 11 riot.
