.25 Rimfire Cartridges?
While looking for something else, I found a container with some rimfire cartridges in it. I remember they were in a box of gun stuff I got at an auction a long time ago. Written on a piece of tape on the box is "25 Cal". They are in good shape (no green crud!), there are 17 of them. Look like over-grown .22 WMR. They have a CCI looking diamond logo for a headstamp. Rim dia.=.337, case dia.=.277, case length=1.12, cartridge length=1.38. Looks like a copper washed solid bullet. I'm guessing .25 Stevens?
EDIT: Thanks guys. I'm not looking to get rich on these; just wondering what they are. I know they'd have value to some one, just not me. I would give them to whoever had a use for them but shipping would be a killer!

Yes, 25 Stevens, sometimes called a 25 Stevens Long. The "diamond" probably means Winchester manufacture. Even though they've been obsolete for years they are still fairly common and won't make you rich. Maybe 50 cents each if you sell them seperately. Less for the whole bunch. 0 -
No, the diamond headstamp denotes Western manufacture. Winchester rimfire cartridges wiil have a "H" headstamp. 0 -
