Need help replacing semi-custom rifle front sight

    If it is just the hood, a piece of tubing (aluminum, brass, steel, etc) the proper wall thickness and diameter would work.

    I know, but if its a batch made product, id like to buy one pre made instead of paying for all the labor.

    More importantly, I want to keep as the guy built it also, so its not a mix of several guys work, if i cant get a hold of the builder.

    Maybe re-form it on a mandrel. You might look at Lyman, Williams and other sight hoods to see if one will fit.

    tsavo, I might have what you need. Is it smashed so bad you can't get measurements?
    One I have measures:
    Length: 1.185
    O.D.: .650
    I.D.: .530
    Slot width: .235
    Slot length behind knurling: .950

    Contact the customer service folks at Brownells. I would e-mail them, including a picture of front sight hood you are trying to replace.
