M1 Carbine Magazines

I am looking at an original WWII vintage M1, but it does not have any magazines with it...What brand, brands are generally reliable, decent magazines ?

  I came by some 30 round magazines marked 'AYP'. Any info as to the maker or when produced would be great.

  If GI they are 15 rds, not 10/ The only military mag's made for the carbine were 15 and 30. There have been 5/10 and I think 20 rd mag's made commercially.
