Anyone able to tell me anything about this? I've tried googling every combination of the letters on each side and the best I can come up with is Coeslin is a city in Germany and Jaenicke seems to be a last name shared by many. I don't know if it's E. Jaenicke and In Coeslin or if its something else. Any help would be appreciated. What, who, when, where, value? Anything. Thanks!!

Also...apologies for the upside down pics. It isn't doing that until I post them. Weird. One side said EJAE NICKE and it looks like it has the space in between but it might just be the way it was engraved. The other side has INCOESLIN but it too might read IN COESLIN and I'm just not seeing it spaced out like that.

  Don't know anything about the maker or location. The spring loaded nipple covers are a device found on German/Prussian percussion pistols, circa mid 19th Century. Interesting that the German's/Prussian's through this feature necessary, they even used it on at least one model of their military cavalry pistol.
  
  Very unique, double barreled, pocket pistol. Probably worth a lot of money back in the fatherland, to a German collector. Lot of these guns were brought back to the US after the war, by GI's as souvenirs.
  
  EDIT #1, After the W W II the town in eastern Germany where your pistol was made, became part of Poland. It's Polish name is Koszalin. Most of the native German residents left. So it might be difficult because of this, to research the maker of your pistol?

  Nice piece.
  I believe the nipple covers are safeties.
  A 45 cal German dueler in my collection had one that is broken off.
