    They do have a "buy anything with a particular serial number" program - the collection of "serial number 13" stuff was listed recently... heck its still running and plenty of time to bid! (no affiliation, interest, etc. in the auction)

    If Ruger thought it was something special, it would have never left their factory. Most of the companies are aware of the collector attraction for low serial numbered guns. They either keep them or give their brass, or high volume distributors first shot.

    Obviously there would be some collector interest. Factory originality and NIB condition with all original paperwork and accessories, would be a major factor in value to a collector. Given that it's over 25 years old.

    On the other hand if you got a well used Mini 14, thats been used as a truck gun for the last 20 years? I don't see the serial number adding any additional value. Please post quality photos of it. For us to be better able to help with valuation.
