what is the difference in the xbolt vs abolt.are either good rifles

I am looking into to buying a Browning rifle. I was wondering if anyone had any comments on the different A-bolts. I am trying to decide between the standard, classic hunter, and medallion.Thanks,Hitman

My dad had a Browning Abolt chambered in 300 WM, it had the BOSS and it was loud. It shot ok looked nice and was well made.

I own, and shoot both. Both are very accurate, and reliable. The X-Bolt, has some features that the A-Bolt, or A-Bolt II does not have. Like a completely detaching magazine, not one that attaches to the floor plate. It also has a nice feature that lets you open the bolt with the gun on safe, unlike the A-Bolt(II), where you have to take the rifle off safe to open the bolt and unload it.
