Which Colt box?

Hi, experts. At what point in production did the 2nd generation SAA go to the stagecoach box? Would a 2 nd gen. SAA at around serial number 11,000 have come in a black box or the stagecoach box? thanks. Jim

  Hi, Experts. I bought a 2nd generation Colt SAA and I'd like to find the approprate box somewhere/somehow. My SAA's serial number is in the 61,000 range. Does anyone know if this takes the stagecoach box or the brown, wood grain box? Thanks Jim

  Black box your pistol early 1957 I suspect stage coach between 38500SA-40000SA
