Do any gov't amorer's markings REDUCE values?

In a general sense, do gov't armorer's marking reduce the value of hardware? Or of woodwork?

There's exceptions I imagine, but as a rule? Yea? Or nay?

  Inspector marks can make big difference I don't know about ARMORERS marks. All Ainsworth inspector Marks on an early Colt SSA or the correct H marks on Military early 1911 Can also add value. A early H that is Sideways. marked on the hood of a Pre 6500 serial Barrel in good condition can bring north of $1000.00
  
  IMHO a 1911 that has a parkerized finish Better Have Amorer's mark or you can assume it may be a BUBBA done job.

  Authentic U.S. military markings on any firearm do not detract from the value. Infact, they will enhance the value.

  rebuild marks tend to lower value....but not always
