Franchi Model 48 AL
Any one know what the value of a Franchi Model 48AL is. Looked in GB but none listed have sold. What is a realistic price? Thanks

I have committed to buy a Franchi model 48 AL. I bought this gun on a whim, and really have no idea what I am getting. I thought it was on the same level as a Benelli.
Please offer you opinion of these guns.

Those aluminum, semi-auto Franchi's aren't easy guns to sell. I had one years ago, and it took me the longest time to sell.
You don't mention the gauge, condition, or accessories so it's hard to pin down. If it's a standard 12 gauge field gun,in Very Good condition? I would be happy to get $300 out of it. Their light weight makes them ugly kickers, even with light dove loads. Most shotgun guys that have any experience, don't want anything to do with them.0 -
I had one about 7 years ago in 12 gauge I purchased used for about $250. I quickly traded it and $100 for one in 20 gauge. I love the 20 gauge, it's extremely light and is one of my favorite hunting shotguns. You might get $300-$350 for a 12 gauge and around $450-$475 for a nice 20. 0 -
Its a 12gage Plain barrel Modified Choke. It had no choke tubes. Its in great shape. Shoots both light and heavy loads by adjusting the barrel bushings. Im getting out of 12 gage due to shoulder neck and back problems. really looking to trade it for something in a 20ga. Just wanted to know a realistic value for trade or sale. Thanks 0
