sig p229 stainless value

I have a Sig P229 stainless. ONLY made in 1996 in 40 s&w. in approx. 95-98% condition, could someone please help with approx. value? it is pre rail. frame made in Germany Slide made on NH I have the blue plastic box it came in. Not sure about the manuel.

  How is it only made in 1996?
  
  I have a stainless slide P229 in .40 caliber that was issued to me, new in 2000.

  cer is referring to the polished stainless model sold only in 1996-1997, not the current matte finish versions.
  
  I would expect it to sell for ~ $1,000; one NIB would go for a lot more.
