Remington Model 11
I have a Rem. M11 that has a 28" cyl. bore. Is this factory?
It is a 28" solid rib barrel, and is marked CYL underneath
the barrel, right in front of the extension.

can anyone tell me how to find out the date and value of an old model-11 12 gauge marked military finish? serial #701645 the barrel has no #'s on the left side? 0 -
The Army ones were.
I suspect the Savage 720 barrels would also work but you'd have to try.0 -
I thought all barrels were interchangable specfic to guage. Savage barrels will work, have seen this on occassions. Does anyone know of any occassion when Remington 11 barrels did not interchange? 0 -
Yes, the 11 barrels can be interchanged.
I've got seven 11's, and the only one I haven't switched barrels on is the unfired 11F.
I will defer to anyone who has actually used a Savage barrel, but do know the A5 barrel is a No-Go.0
