I'm thinking the TCU family is based on .223 Improved necked to the various calibers.
Gunsmith Roy Dunlap in a short article in the 1986 Gun Digest, called the plain .30x.223 the .30 Apache. But these days the reamer and die makers would probably just call it .30-.223 or maybe 7.62-45.0 -

It depends on the variation of the shoulder as to what it might be referred to.
There is the basic .30-223 which is the standard case necked up to take the .30 caliber bullet.
Then as noted, there are:
.30 T/CU
.30-223 Ingram
.30 Apache
This cartridge and its variations were developed for the shooters participating in the IHMSA or the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association. The T/CU line is the most prevalent since it also features the same case necked to 6mm, 6.5mm and 7mm, all with the original 40 degree shoulder as designed by Wes Ugaldi.
The Apache has a reported 30 degree shoulder:
"The .30-223 was developed around 1985 for silhouette shooting fans. It is formed by neck-expanding the famous .223 Remington (5.56mm NATO) to .30 caliber (7.62mm). The name most closely linked to the round is Joe Apache of Raton, NM."
