  It's a cosmetic replica that is mostly made of plastic and potmetal/Zinc diecastings, internally. Bunch of online reviews generally are favorable. Given the materials used in the internal construction, long term durability will always be questionable.
  
  The Germans started using Zinc diecastings in their 22's, prior to the 2nd World War. I had a couple of the Erma Luger replicas, made of mostly potmetal years ago. They didn't hold up because the Zinc diecastings were used in high stress areas, that should have been made of steel. Hopefully the Walther UZI replica you're inquiring about is better engineered, so that the high stress areas aren't made of plastic or potmetal castings.

  A Savage Fox 20 failed to cock . On opening it up I found the hammers were Zinc Alloy, probably Zamack the strongest of the group.
  One hammer was cracked in two.
  Numrich had steel replacements.
  Zinc alloy,like sintered parts have no business in firearms.

  That's what I wanna hear, as there are none to see here , all mail order !! sounds like junk ,like the G22 they did, so made me a saving ! [;)]
