40-65 or 40 63?

I have a Ballard rifle marked 40-63. I have been told that the 40-65 is the same case. If so, will 40-65 dies work for both? Thanks

  I'd do a chamber cast to see what exactly is there. oft barrels will last longer shooting lead.
