Your info is correct, but you got it way overpriced per "Flayderman's Guide". It would most likely grade out as Very Good, using his criteria for grading antique firearms. My WAG, $400 to $600, probably would be much more realistic.

Mechanical function would be another factor affecting value. As the trigger is manually cycled. An internal ratchet mechanism cycles 90 degrees, so each barrel can be fired. If this isn't functional it would negatively affect value to a collector.

EDIT #1, Got this photo of a Remington Elliot off the net, it isn't a photo of the OP's Elliot. The trigger mechanism shows the complexity of the small internal parts that are required for it to be operational.

If it functions correctly, you should be able to get about $650 to 800 for it. Check armslist.com for listing.

Get hold of 32 short colt fired brass. Cut it down lengthwise to 3/8". Use a Sharpie marker on the base. When you pull the trigger the rimfire firing pin should make a mark on the base, of the cut down 32 short Colt brass.

Don't try to fire it. If you can't found some old .41 Rimfire ammo to REMOVE the bullets and black powder from to test it. You can use EMPTY
.38 S&W cases with a wrap of scotch tape around them to center them in the chambers. You are going to ONLY test that the gun strikes the four shells on the rim area. NOT trying to fire the primers.

SORRY!~!! BRAIN FART!!! THATS FOR THE 41 RIMFIRE

You may be able to cycle it with the barrels open to see if the firing pin rotates from chamber to chamber.

Or if the barrels interfere with that, a piece of masking tape at junction of barrels should show hits.

    What hrf said.
It has a rotating firing pin, and if I remember right, you can cycle it with the barrels open.
