Speer hot-Cor bullets

Hello folks.
Today I went to the LGS to buy 30-30
bullets for reloading.
The guy gives me Speer Hot-core 30 cal 170gr HCFN.
I look at the bullet and the flat is kind of small
and I'm concerned about tubular firearms.
The Speer part no is "2041". So I hop over to the
Speer website and no. 2041 is labeled hot-core
Spitzer soft point and now I'm quite concerned.
Any thoughts folks?

  Speer just got back to me.
  The discrepancy is their issue.
  All is well.
