Identify these carbine parts
I bought a few parts supposedly for the M1 carbine. I need to correctly identify a trigger guard and a slide. The trigger guard appears to be cast alluminum with a black anodized finish. The only mark I can find is a 'W' inside an oval stamped on the bottom inside just in front of the trigger opening.

The slide appears to be parkerized. It is stamped on the bottom with'D-7161843-7' over 'HSA'. There is a '6' (or a '(9 depending on how you view it) stamped inside the well.

I would like to know the manufacturer, which models they are for, and the approximate value. Thanks in advance!

Universal Firearms of Hiahleah, Florida made the trigger assembly for their 'variant' M1 carbines. I think it will fit the receiver of U. S. military issue, but it will NOT fit into the stocks. 0 -

The parts will fit into the USGI stock as long as it is a single spirng slide, the double spring slide will not fit into a GI stock. The picture looks like a single spring part. I have found my early Universal carbine that the early parts will all transfer back and forth with the exception of the GI trigger housing pin that holds the front of the trigger guard in place is smaller in diameter than the GI and the front sight is held on by an allen screw. 0 -

The M2 slide has the raised rib along the right side of the slide. The M1 version does not.0 -

Yes, those are slides for the M2 carbine. They will also work and are legal to use on the M1 carbine.

Your slide is a post-war USGI slide made by a contractor. It would sell in the $50-100 range
IF you learn how to take photos that are in focus.
