I paid $19.99 for the white box at walmart 7/2012 0 -
That's what I thought! 0 -
I bought a box yesterday at Wal-Mart in Murrieta for $24.47. Strange thing was that was about the only pistol ammo they had. There were six boxes and another guy bought three of them so I suspect they are all long gone.
I thought that was a pretty good price for 100 rounds today.0 -
Funny that 40S&W is cheaper. I'm getting it for $17.99 to $19.99 per box for Blazers, depending on whether I want the aluminum or brass cases. 0 -
I just bought about two weeks ago Federal 100ct 115 fmj at Walmart for around 21 bucks. It did not last long and I only got the last box in the case. 0 -

Last year before I went on an ammo buying binge, I wrote down the prices of all metallic ammo in the Wal-Mart I frequent. That way, I knew how much to bid on GunBroker.
The price is out-the-door with 7% sales tax.
Here are a few selected calibers: Federal .22 LR 550 rd. packs, $21.38.
Win. .22 LR 555 rd., $23.40.
Federal .380 fmj, $18.80.
Federal 9mm 115 gr. fmj, $12.80.
Federal .45 auto, $18.80.
Rem/UMC .357 125gr. hollow-points, $28.85.
CCI Maxi-Mag .22 mag.hollow-point, $11.80.
Federal .40 cal. 180 gr. fmj, $19.02.
Rem-UMC .38 Spec. 130 fmj or 158 LRN, $20.30.
Except for the .22 LR, all are 50 rd. boxes, with 7% sales tax included. I beat all of these and other cals. on GunBroker, usually by a decent amount.
These prices are circa April, 2012.0
