Should I be happy with this?
CZ550 American in 6.5x55 with Burris fullfield II 3-9x40

Three shots after boresighting to get it close, then this:
125gr Partition @2795fps

The next three shots (I pulled the third shot...should have shot another but, was pressed for time):
140gr Hotcor @ 2460

The final results of my workup with IMR 4350. I am very pleased.
I used Barnes CR-10 to de-copper the barrel before these groups. Shot three to make sure I was on paper and make small adjustments.
Passed the snake through the bore twice.
Shot the 125s in about 40 seconds. Let the barrel cool and ran the snake through twice more. Then shot the 140s. Even with my mistake the 140gr group was pretty good. Way better than I was getting with RL22.
It appears this rifle likes a very clean bore. I can live with that.
A couple more trips to the range for verification and I'll be ready for deer and bear seasons.....with a bit more practice away from the bench.

Looks real good to me. Nice looking hunting rig. 0 -
I'd be happy with any hunting rifle that shot that good. 0 -
Looks like a typical CZ. Work it up, it will only get better.
My CZ 9.3x62, 10 rounds 100 yards.

Evidently I am an underachiever.
Nice shooting, Steve....way to steal my thunder.[:D]
I ran out of the partitions. I should have some more Saturday. The LGS has some.0 -
Well, well, well . . . beautiful . . . and sounds as if you will be doing much more with this rig.
Congratulations!0 -
Bed it. 0 -
Thank you, Alan.
Steve, did you bed your whole action or just at the recoil lug and tang?0 -

Bed it.
Why?0 -
At this point, I'm not going to mess with it.
Accuracy is more than acceptable for the ranges I hunt from.0 -

That is a great shooting rifle. I would not change a thing.
Does your rifle have the 2 stage trigger? A buddy has one chambered for 223 Rem and it a sweet shooter.
Good luck in critter season,

The whole action. I bed all my bolt action rifles whether they need it or not. I even bedded my Ruger Mini-30.0 -

Single set trigger? Yes.
It was set at 3.5lbs and 1.5lbs at the factory. I have not adjusted either one. I have not felt a need to. I used it set from the bench but will not for field use.0
