Ruger Mark III pistols in Mass
The Ruger MK III is no longer approved in Mass but is it true that a gun already in the state can be sold in the state. Ruger says they will get their new gun approved but they have no idea when. I did see one MK III for sale on GunBroker.com from a seller in Mass and it disappeared quickly. Does anybody know the answer? Thanks

Yes, guns legally imported into Mass may be resold in MA.
In fact, guns legally imported into MA, then exported again, can still be resold into MA, so long as there is some documentation that these were present in State.
So assuming you're otherwise OK to own it, if you can find a MkIII for sale in MA, you can legally buy it. MkIIs and MK1s are also out there, and I'd definitely consider those too.
As a suggestion try Four Seasons in Woburn; they may not have one in stock, but they may be nice enough to notify you if one comes in on consignment or if/when they restock.0
