1894 32 ws value?
I just bought an 1894 winchester 32 special 1909 per sn. it has a 26 inch barrel that is half round and octagon with full length mag. has cresent buttplate. it apears to be all original with nice blueing on barrel and recever ware. The wood looks great with no visible marks but some finish ware at back of forearm. It has a tang sight that looks vintage with large apature and rear sight and front dovetail sight. Would this have been a special order? also it is a straight plain stock. Thanks Eric. They rated it in very good condition?

That is a nice old '94. The full magazine with the half round barrel is interesting. As is the 26" barrel. I'm sure Bert or one of the other fellows will be along shortly to offer their expertise. This rifle would certainly warrant a letter from Cody to confirm the special order features it has. Thanks for posting, I love 1894 Sporting Rifles.

If you post the complete serial number, Bert will be able to determine a very accurate date!
There is really no reason to not give Bert the complete serial number. There is nothing anyone can do with it, other than research it for you.
Bert, for some reason I thought a half mag. was typically standard for a half round barrel. Is it just on take downs? or am I way off?

The serial number will tell me exactly when it was manufactured. That stated, the original Winchester factory warehouse ledger records end in the middle of 1907, and your rifle most likely can not be lettered.
The 26-inch barrel was standard for the Model 1894 Sporting Rifles (which is what you have). The 1/2 octagon barrel was a factory option.
The Marbles tang sight was installed (added) after the fact. It does add approximately $150 to the value of the rifle though.
"They" over rated the condition. Based on what I can see of it, it is in "Good" range.0 -
