STARCLUSTER / PARACHUTE ALUMINUM TUBES

During my military years I have fired off hundreds of the hand held parachute & star cluster aerial flares. After firing the aluminum tube was discarded. My question is; is it possible to find any of these empty tubes for sale? I want to use one to hold my AR-15 .22 adapter bolt on my web gear. I have a pouch made to hold one of the flares, but I cannot locate an empty tube (or two).

Any help would be appreciated.

  I keep my metal files in one. I use my first grenade ring as a key chain. Maybe a PVC tube with caps/plugs.
