Just wondering does anyone have any thoughts on this pistol? What would be the value?

    these are the plastic lower sigs. i have one in 9mm. it works good, but it has always felt cheap to me. before the panic set in, i paid 409.00 for mine new in the box out the door. i am sure at a show you could get around 500.00 for it. i wouldn't sell mine for any less than that, but i also have 6 factory mags with it. kirk

    Its the "Sig Pro".

    It is what it is. . .namely a polymer framed version of the Sig auto pistols. These are reliable, tough, and lightweight. If you like SIG and want a lightweight DA/SA or DA-only gun, there you go.

    Nothing wrong with these. They're popular in Europe but for whatever reason they never really caught on in the USA, and can be found at pretty nice prices sometimes. Figure these are about a $450 gun used, give or take a little bit.

    Low popularity may be because with so many Glocks and similar guns floating around, the American shooting public prefers striker-fire (Glock style) actions in the polymer guns. DA/SA guns get issued as duty guns a lot, but these have never really been all that popular.


    Edit: Responding to below. Sorry. . .didn't mean to imply that these are otherwise identical to the standard SIG auto line except for the frame material. AS you say, that's not true, and I don't think SIG actually offers polymer framed versions of these service guns.

    Not only is the fire control system different on these than the older metal SIGs, but they also lack a takedown lever. But they still have the old-school DA/SA trigger, frame mounted decocker, and general SIG ergonomics.






    But they are still SIGs, and they do still have a DA/SA trigger plus decocker.

    One way or another, they're also accurate, reliable pistols.
