    J.P. Sauer model 38H.

It looks like it has been buffed hard and reblued and the grips are carved replacements. Nicely carved and contoured, but replacements.

Dollar value not reall high after all that messing around.

They are not bad pistols, though.

They are the most advanced pocket pistol EVER made, before or since. No other pistol ever had a decocker AND cocker, plus double action.
While the collector value is shot, the carry value remains IF the mechanics are good.

I agree with P3 SKYKING IMHO much better design Than the the coveted PPK.

The only one I ever shot was not reliable with US .32 ACP.
Would it do better with hotter European 7.65 Browning?
That was a long time ago and I did not understand the difference.

An unoriginal gun at a low enough price could be a serviceable weapon. But I would want a good test fire first.
