Mfg date on Browning

I acquired a Browning lever action 22 and I was wondering about the mfg date. Serial number is 12910RR***. Any help would be appreciated.

  Looks like 1977 to me. Actually the serial number is the 5 digit number before the two R's. It's the 12,910 BL 22, made in 1977. The 3 digit number after the RR, is Brownings model identifier.
