Browning Citori O/U too tight on break. Why?

    Some of the Browning break opens can be real tight. I would suggest that you grease it up and shoot a round or two of trap or skeet. Open the gun up, wipe out all of the old grease and put fresh grease in. Cleaning out the old grease removes all of the small metal pieces that occur when the gun is tight like you mention. Do this 3 or 4 times and you should be golden.

    I use Tetra gun grease, it does not flow when hot. Remove the lube when you have finished shooting so it will not collect dirt and grit which will act as an abrasive next time you shoot.
