    There has been a book written about the World War I German Regimental markings. They can be quite confusing as they stamped on by the individual unit armourers, who interpreted the regs differently.

    Yours is a dozie! I will give it the old college try?

    9th Company, 10th Jaeger Battalion, of the Bavarian Infantry Regiment.
