FN hi power 40cal.
One of these showed up at the local gun store.
It is NIB ser#513mx53425.
I am familiar with the Browning HPs but not the FNs.
Can someone please tell me the DOM and approximate value of a 40cal NIB FN Hi Power?

FN made 'em, Browning imported them.
The 9mm hi powers were also made on licensed machinery in other countries, like Imbel in Brazil (they also made/make FALs)0 -
2003, per the Browning site.
Most all gun folks are familiar with the Browning name, not so much with FN. Although basically identical except for markings, I would expect the FN to be of lesser value.
Similar to the store brand Model 70's, that Winchester made for Sears years ago. I believe that Sears sold them as Model 53's. Good quality guns, but wouldn't sell even close for what a Model 70 go's for.
EDIT #1, I would check out the on-line auctions for what used 40 cal. Hi-Powers, in comparable condition are going for. Knock off 20% for the it being marked FN, rather then Browning.0 -
