Sprinfield model 67 series E 410 mag problems

Folks: The 410 shell will not stay in the mag tube but pops back out when I load.The shotgun functions properly otherwise. Any suggestions?Thankyou

Tube mag shotguns have a small lever at the rear of the tube, that generally is known as the shell stop. They retain the shells in the tube, after they are loaded.

My WAG is either your shell stop or shell stop spring is either broken or malfunctioning.

Thankyou .I have never had this problem before. Looks like a trip to my gunsmith.

part number 25 would be the suspect. Worn, broken or loose.
