  Well, that needs to be clearified. Are you talking "1894", or "94"??? If 94, then are you talking Pre-64, or Post-63?, and if Post-63, then are you talking Winchester, USRAC(made Winchester licensed products, in the New Haven winchester plant from 1981 ish to 2006), or FNC(current makes Winchester licensed products, in the Carolina's). In otherwords, the 94 is still in production.

  I'm not sure what you're asking. According to Bert H., Winchester stopped using the "Model 1894" designation in 1919 and changed to "Model 94" until production totally ended in 2006.

  I'm wondering when winchester quite making 1894 rifles and went to all carbines. I know it was somewhere right after serial no. 1000000.

  One reference puts it at 1929, and another states that "rifles became increasingly scarce after serials around 1,000,000." Bert can provide you with more definitive details to this end.

  Winchester discontinued the Model 94 "Sporting Rifle" at the end of the year 1937. It was announced in the January 1938 Winchester catalog.
  
  In the years following the introduction of the Model 55 (in June of 1924), and its replacement, the Model 64 (January 1933), the number of Model 94 Sporting Rifles manufactured was significantly less than in earlier years. That stated, I have verified (through my on going research survey), that production did continue right up to the year 1938. The expected serial number range is up to 1158835. I have surveyed (6) rifles with later serial numbers, and (5) of them were before 1941 and are considered to be "parts clean-up" production guns.
