Remington 1100.
Hello,I'm new to the forum so bare with me.I have an older Remington 12 Ga.model 1100 the serial number ends with a V. I'm in the market for a RS R Barrel for it.What year,Style Barrels will fit my gun?All information welcome Thanks Dutchman Ben.[8D]

I guess I'm not sure what an "RS R" barrel is, unless you mean rifled slug. The key is to stay with the same chamber size, 2 3/4" or 3". There is a gas port(s) drilled in the barrel to channel gas back to the receiver to operate the action. I beleive the V at the end of the serial number indicates 2 3/4" (M for magnum). You should stick to the correct barrel chamber for reliable feeding and ejection no matter what barrel length or choke you buy. The ring diameter, to the best of my knowledge, has never changed on the 12 gauge. Not true for the 20 gauge however. 0 -
