No Magtech for RRA LAR-8 (AR-10)
Rock River Arms places a note in the shipping box of the LAR-8 (an AR-10 style rifle in 7.62 x 51 )
The note says ' Do Not Use Magtech Ammunition ' because of the results of their testing.
Does anyone know the reasoning behind this ?
I have a good bit of Magtech once fired brass that I intended to reload for the LAR-8 and other guns in that chambering.
It would be nice to know if it was a feeding problem related to the bullet profile, or a problem with the base which results in extraction failures .
I am waiting on a reply from RRA.
I don't want to discover this problem on my own.

They are also going to tell you not to use reloaded ammo. I would guess that is a primer misfire issue or something of that sort as the outside case dimensions and bullet shape should fit a standard profile. 0
